Update Windows 10, users do not need to Login using Password

Update Windows 10, users do not need to Login using Password

It seems to immediately eliminate the password feature (password) slowly.

With the update of Windows 10 May 2019, users of Windows 10 version 1903 can log into gadgets, applications and online platforms using biometrics or PINS, not passwords.

This means that users of Microsoft Edge, Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox will be logged in with facial-recognition and fingerprint sensors.

Not only that, this biometric system will allow users to access Windows programs such as Outlook.com, Office 365, Skype, Xbox Live on PC and others.

With an active user of about 800 million, the impact will be immediately felt.  "Nobody likes passwords, except hackers," says Yogesh Mehta from Microsoft, in his blog post.

Last month, Microsoft revealed the password expiration policy (password expiration policies) useless and then threw it away from the basic Windows 10 v1903 security settings.

Now, Microsoft is focusing on developing technology to eliminate passwords from the entire system.

WhatsApp end support for older Windows Phone and Android

WhatsApp will end support for the Windows Phone operating system (OS), as well as older versions of Android and iOS. This termination of support will be done gradually.

Quoted from Phone Arena, Thursday (9/5/2019), support for Windows Phone will be discontinued starting 31 December 2019.

Meanwhile, WhatsApp support for older Android and iOS-based devices will be discontinued next year.

The reason WhatsApp stopped providing support for Windows Phone is related to Microsoft's decision. As is known, Microsoft has decided to end its support for its OS.

Regarding other OS, WhatsApp will not be able to use on devices running Android 2.37 and earlier, starting February 1, 2020.

Devices with iOS 7 and earlier also will no longer be able to use WhatsApp on the same date.

A number of WhatsApp features for these three OS will likely stop working, prior to the end of support day H.

Therefore, users must use the new device in order to use all the available WhatsApp features.
